Stuff NZ Article: Cyclone Gabrielle: Huge task continues to retrieve hundreds of vehicles buried under mountains of silt | Stuff
In the aftermath of Cyclone Gabrielle, hundreds of vehicles, machinery, and farm equipment were buried under meters of silt across Hawke’s Bay. A daunting challenge that left communities overwhelmed. Our team spent months on the ground, not just retrieving vehicles and salvaging machinery, but supporting recovery efforts and helping people reclaim a sense of normalcy in some of the hardest-hit communities. Through hard mahi, long days, and teamwork, we were proud to play a meaningful part in restoring access and helping some locals take their first steps toward rebuilding.
